01Staking options

Three ways to put your stake to work.

Each node type is a separate staking pool on the Theta protocol. Pick the one that matches the token you hold and the size of your stake.

Never your keys

Staff will never ask for keys, a mnemonic, or a password. Only you can stake and unstake, from your own Theta Wallet.

Vitals in the open

Every node reports its client version and alert state. The same readings power the node lists on this site.

One fleet, one version

All 83 Elite Edge Nodes in the feed run client v4.3.6. 100% uptime is the aim. It is not a guarantee, and the terms say so.

Fees you can read

2% on the Guardian. 2.9% on Elite Edge, which is 0.29 TFUEL of every 10 earned. Rewards follow the Theta protocol.

03The procedure

Four steps. No paperwork.

  1. 1

    Choose a node

    The Guardian for THETA, or an Elite Edge Node for TFUEL. Check the room left before you pick.

  2. 2

    Copy its holder summary

    One click copies the long hex string the Theta Wallet needs to find the node.

  3. 3

    Open the official Theta Wallet

    Go to Stakes, then Deposit Stake, and choose Guardian Node or Edge Node.

  4. 4

    Paste, enter an amount, confirm

    TFUEL rewards accrue to the wallet you staked from. Only that wallet can withdraw the stake.
